CELEBRATING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH 2022

The first celebrated Women's History Week was in March of 1978 by educators in California to increase awareness of the Powerful Contributions Women have given to our Society. Now we dedicate the month of March to them every year.

To honor the special Women in one's life, International Women's Day was established on March 08, 1911, and is celebrated worldwide on March 8th each year.

The 2022 Women's History Months Theme is "Provide Healing and Promote Hope". This is a tribute and recognition to the thousands of ways Women of this World provide Healing and Hope throughout their lives. This is also dedicated to the tireless work of our Frontline Women Workers and Women Caregivers during this ongoing Global Crisis and Pandemic.

This month of March is the time to Honor and Learn about some Notable Women's Figures that have made a huge difference and influence on mankind.

FIVE (5) BEAUTIFUL STORIES

Here are Five (5) Beautiful Stories that should make us all think and perhaps help us adjust our priorities!   1 - First Important Lesson - All are Significant.  During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.   "Absolutely, " said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people.  All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say "hello." I've never forgotten that lesson. I also later learned her name was Dorothy. 2.

CELEBRATING EARTH DAY 2022

Inspired by several environmental disasters, the junior senator established the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, to bring light to the issue of environmental responsibility and to transform the public's attitude.  Let us celebrate Earth Day by participating in giving back to Mother Earth! We definitely take for granted the many treasures our planet provides us while we live our lives, go about our day, tap into the resources, connect with people, and grow our businesses. We must do our part to take care of our home so we can continue to enjoy what it provides us. Here at One Trillion Group, it’s no surprise that we value giving back. So for this month, we wanted to give back to Mother Earth!!  If you’re already a client, it’s not too late to participate in this month's challenge to help the planet and have a chance to win a pack of seeds to start your own plantation (a bonus to help reduce your carbon footprint). Throughout this month of April 2022, the www.carbonfund.org fou

CELEBRATING JUNETEENTH - FREEDOM DAY

The celebrations that followed the reading of the proclamation by General Gordon Granger began a tradition that has lasted for over one hundred and fifty five years.  General Granger read to the people of Texas, General Order Number 3 which began most significantly with:  "The people of Texas are informed that in accordance with a Proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of rights and rights of property between former masters and slaves, and the connection heretofore existing between them becomes that between employer and hired laborer." From its Galveston, Texas origin in 1865, the observance of June 19th as the African American Emancipation and Freedom Day has spread across the United States and beyond. Its growing popularity signifies a level of maturity and dignity in America long over due. In cities across the country, people of all nationalities, races and religions are joining hands to truthfully ac
