CELEBRATING AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE ON FOURTH OF JULY 2022

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, AMERICA
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY

Refresh your and your family's memory about this American holiday.                         ______________________________ What actually happened on July 4th. ______________________________
How did the founders envision our Independence Day celebration?           ______________________________
What is the best way to celebrate this Fourth of July long weekend?
On the 4th of July, the United States observes an all-important federal holiday in honor of the Declaration of Independence. We think of July 4th as a day representing the Declaration of Independence, America’s revolutionary Charter of Freedom, and the document upon which the nation’s founding principles were established.

Did you know that July 4th wasn’t the day that independence was declared. Nor the day that the Declaration was officially signed. So July 4, 1776 commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by delegates from the 13 colonies. On the 4th, the Continental Congress approved the final wording of the Declaration of Independence.
This is the day we celebrate the birth of the United States of America.

John Adams described the way Americans should celebrate their independence each year. He envisioned the celebration to be one filled with fun, games, and elaborate fireworks - not an occasion for displaying military strength and political power. Many countries have adopted to celebrate in a similar fashion.

Let us be grateful and celebrate this Fourth of July by honoring our flag of unity, and at night with a grand exhibition of amazing fireworks, and all the cities are beautifully illuminated. Everything should be conducted with the greatest order and decorum. All Americans should exhibit a universal spirit of patriotism with faces of joy and gladness.

FIVE (5) BEAUTIFUL STORIES

Here are Five (5) Beautiful Stories that should make us all think and perhaps help us adjust our priorities!   1 - First Important Lesson - All are Significant.  During my second month of college, our professor gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions until I read the last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50's, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.   "Absolutely, " said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people.  All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say "hello." I've never forgotten that lesson. I also later learned her name was Dorothy. 2.

CELEBRATING EARTH DAY 2022

Inspired by several environmental disasters, the junior senator established the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, to bring light to the issue of environmental responsibility and to transform the public's attitude.  Let us celebrate Earth Day by participating in giving back to Mother Earth! We definitely take for granted the many treasures our planet provides us while we live our lives, go about our day, tap into the resources, connect with people, and grow our businesses. We must do our part to take care of our home so we can continue to enjoy what it provides us. Here at One Trillion Group, it’s no surprise that we value giving back. So for this month, we wanted to give back to Mother Earth!!  If you’re already a client, it’s not too late to participate in this month's challenge to help the planet and have a chance to win a pack of seeds to start your own plantation (a bonus to help reduce your carbon footprint). Throughout this month of April 2022, the www.carbonfund.org fou

CELEBRATING JUNETEENTH - FREEDOM DAY

The celebrations that followed the reading of the proclamation by General Gordon Granger began a tradition that has lasted for over one hundred and fifty five years.  General Granger read to the people of Texas, General Order Number 3 which began most significantly with:  "The people of Texas are informed that in accordance with a Proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of rights and rights of property between former masters and slaves, and the connection heretofore existing between them becomes that between employer and hired laborer." From its Galveston, Texas origin in 1865, the observance of June 19th as the African American Emancipation and Freedom Day has spread across the United States and beyond. Its growing popularity signifies a level of maturity and dignity in America long over due. In cities across the country, people of all nationalities, races and religions are joining hands to truthfully ac
